Step 1: configure the date and time
1. Press "Menu" key
2. Scroll to "Settings" and press the "Select" key
3. Scroll to "Date and time" and press the "Select" key
4. Scroll to "Auto-update of time" and press the "Select” key
5. Scroll to "On" and press the "Select” key
6. Press the red hang-up key to go back to the main screen

Step 2: configure the data settings

Press the "Menu" key
2. Hightlight "Settings" and press the “Select” key
3. Scroll to "Phone" and press the “Select” key
4. Scroll to "Network mode" and press the “Select” key
5. Scroll to "Dual mode" and press the “Select” key
6. Make sure the “Dual mode” option has been hightlighted and then press the “Select” key
7. Press the red hang-up key to go back to the main screen

You'll need to complete all steps for these settings to work. Make sure that if you have to enter O2 in the settings, use the letter O and not a zero.

The phone has a four-way directional Navi key and two soft keys on either side of this. The Navi key can also be pressed in to select options. 

1. Select the Menu (press Navi key)
2. Highlight Settings and Select (press Navi key)
3. Highlight Configuration and Select (press Navi key)
4. Highlight Personal config. sett. and Select (press Navi key)

5. Hit options ( top left key )
5. Select Add  new (press Navi key)
6. Highlight Web and Select (press Navi key)
7. Highlight Account Name and Select (press Navi key), enter O2 WAP GPRS then OK (press Navi key) 
9. Highlight User name and select (press Navi key), enter o2wap then OK (press Navi key)
10. Highlight Password and select (press Navi key), enter password then OK (press Navi key), verify new password and again select OK (press Navi key)
11. Highlight Use pref. access pt. and Select (press Navi key), highlight No and Select (press Navi key)
12. Highlight Access point settings and Select (press Navi key)
13. Highlight Proxy and Select (press Navi key)
14. Highlight Enable and Select (press Navi key)
15. Highlight Proxy address and Select (press Navi key), enter 193.113.200.195 and OK (press Navi key)
16. Highlight Proxy port and Select (press Navi key), enter 8080 and OK (press Navi key)
17. Skip past Data bearer as this should be preset as Packet Data
18. Highlight Bearer settings and Select (press Navi key)
19. Highlight Packet data acc. pt. and Select (press Navi key), enter wap.o2.co.uk and OK (press Navi key)
20. Ignore Network type this should be set to IPv4
21. Ignore Authentication type, this should be set as Normal
22. Highlight User name and Select (press Navi key), enter o2wap and OK (press Navi key)
 23. Highlight Password and Select (press Navi key), enter password and select OK (press Navi key), verify password and again OK (press Navi key)
24. Press Back three times (right soft key) 25. Highlight O2 WAP GPRS and press Options (left soft key)
26. Highlight Activate and Select (press Navi key)
27. Press Back (right soft key) four times.  

28. Launch the browser

Step 4: Set up OVI Mail

1.Press the "Menu" key
2. Scroll to "Web" and press the “Select” key
3. Scroll to "Browser" and press the "Select" key
4. Select the "www" field and enter a url. Example: google.com
5. Press the "Goto" key
6. The website will connect

Step 5 - Setting up an OVI email account

Select Menu

Scroll to Messaging

Scroll to Email

Select “Get OVI Mail”

Select Connect

Select “Sign up now”

Type in the email address you want to create

Scroll to next and press select

Create Password

Scroll to Next and press select

Enter your mobile phone number with country code and (+)

Select OK

Enter your Date of Birth in the format YYYY-MM-DD

Agree to Terms and select Next

Agree to Yahoo terms by selecting Next

Enter Captcha Code for verification (note write down code before entering)

Once code is accepted select next

Set up Mailbox

You will be given your username and password (write it down)

Select Sign In

Step 5: Forward your email

1.       Go to your email Account and log in

2.       Set up email forwarding to your OVI account
