Nokia 2690 O2 /UK SIM

 Step 1: confirm the dialed number is active and confirm the dialing pattern used for incoming calls

 Place a test call to the mobile number:

 If you are dialing from a North American line, use the following format:

 011 44 7800 000 000

 If you are dialing from an international line, use the following format:

 00 44 7800 000 000

Step 2: disable voicemail diverts

1. Go to the home screen

2. Enter ##002# followed by SND

3. You will be provided with the acknowledgement "Divert Cancelled"

4. Turn the phone off and back on again

Step 3: re-enable voicemail diverts

1. If you are able to get through proceed to step 7.; if not proceed to step 4.

2. Re-activate the call diverts by doing the following:

 Enter **004*901# and press the green send key

 3. Once you have re-activated the call diverts place a test call and you should be able to get through

Step 4: check the current registered network and change to another network

1. Press the "Menu" key

2. Scroll to "Settings" and press the “Select” key

3. Scroll to "Phone" and press the “Select” key

4. Scroll to "Operator Selection" and press the “Select” key

5. Scroll to "Manual" and press the “Select” key

6. The phone will scan for available networks in the area and return a list of results

7. Scroll to desired network and press the “Select” key

8. You will be redirected to the home screen and the new network name will appear on the display

9. Place a test incoming and outgoing call to the phone If this fails try power cycling the phone

Nokia 2690 With Italy SIM Card

 Step 1: confirm the dialed number is active and confirm the dialing pattern used for incoming calls

 Place a test call to the mobile number:

 If you are dialing from a North American line, use the following format:

 011 39 3600 000 000

 If you are dialing from an international line, use the following format:

 00 39 3600 000 000

 Step 2: disable voicemail diverts

1. Go to the home screen

2. Enter ##002# followed by SND

4. Turn the phone off and back on again

1. If you are able to get through proceed to step 7; if not proceed to step 4.

Step 2: disable voicemail diverts

3. You will be provided with the acknowledgement "Divert Cancelled"

4. Turn the phone off and back on again



Step 3: re-enable voicemail diverts


1. If you are able to get through proceed to step 7; if not proceed to step 4.

2. Re-activate the call diverts by doing the following:

· Call +31 654 501 233 from the phone with the Vodafone SIM

· It will go right into voicemail If prompted for a PIN enter 3333

· Once in the voicemail have the customer choose these options in order: 2, 3, 1, 1

· This will activate the voicemail divert

· You can see the unique divert number now by entering *#61# and pressing <SEND>

3. Once you have re-activated the call diverts place a test call and you should be able to get through

1. Press the "Menu" key

2. Scroll to "Settings" and press the “Select” key

3. Scroll to "Phone" and press the “Select” key

4. Scroll to "Operator Selection" and press the “Select” key
