Issue: Unable to receive calls

Solution Workflow:


Solution 1: Confirm the dialed number is active and confirm the dialing pattern used for incoming calls


Use the following dialing pattern for calling to the international phone: +(country code)(phone number)

Example: + 44 7802 090 100

Solution 2: Confirm the number dialed is active

1. Go to your computer and open an internet browser
2. Navigate to
www.brighroam.com
3. Click on the "Login" link
4. Login to your account with your email address and password
5. Check the status of your SIM card to make sure it has not expired.


Solution 3: Check the current registered network and change to another network
 


**Note that below instructions are only applicable for Nokia phones. Please refer to your phone manual for exact steps to perform manual network search.
1. Press the "Menu" key.

2. Scroll to "Settings" and press "Select."
3. Scroll to "Phone Settings" and press "Select."
4. Scroll to "Network Selection" and press "Select."
5. Scroll to "Manual" and press "Select."
6. The phone will scan for available networks in the area and return a list of results.
7. Scroll to desired network and press "Select."
8. You will be redirected to the home screen and the new network name will appear on the display.
9. Place a test incoming and outgoing call to the phone. If this fails try power cycling the phone.


Solution 4: Power Cycle the phone by removing the battery


1. Remove the battery door by pushing the release button on the back of the phone and sliding the cover down.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Reinsert the battery and press it firmly into place.
4. Reinsert the battery door and slide it firmly to lock it into place.


Solution 5: Check Active Line Setting


1. Check and see if the there is a small number 2 located on the top center of the display.

2. Press and hold the “#” key for 30-45 seconds and the active line setting will change back to Line 1.
