Solution Workflow:

Nokia 2730 With UK/World SIM Card
Step 1: configure the date and time
1. Press "Menu" key
2. Scroll to "Settings" and press the "Select" key
3. Scroll to "Date and time" and press the "Select" key
4. Scroll to "Auto-update of time" and press the "Select” key
5. Scroll to "On" and press the "Select” key
6. Press the red hang-up key to go back to the main screen
Step 2: configure the data settings
1. Press the "Menu" key
2. Hightlight "Settings" and press the “Select” key
3. Scroll to "Phone" and press the “Select” key
4. Scroll to "Network mode" and press the “Select” key
5. Scroll to "Dual mode" and press the “Select” key
6. Make sure the “Dual mode” option has been hightlighted and then press the “Select” key
7. Press the red hang-up key to go back to the main screen

You'll need to complete all steps for these settings to work. Make sure that if you have to enter O2 in the settings, use the letter O and not a zero.
The phone has a four-way directional Navi key and two soft keys on either side of this. The Navi key can also be pressed in to select options.
1. Select the Menu (press Navi key)
2. Highlight Settings and Select (press Navi key)
3. Highlight Configuration and Select (press Navi key)
4. Highlight Personal config. sett. and Select (press Navi key)
5. Select Add (press Navi key)
6. Highlight Web and Select (press Navi key)
7. Highlight Account Name and Select (press Navi key), remove my web and enter O2 WAP GPRS then OK (press Navi key)
9. Highlight User name and select (press Navi key), enter o2wap then OK (press Navi key)
10. Highlight Password and select (press Navi key), enter password then OK (press Navi key), verify new password and again select OK (press Navi key)
11. Highlight Use pref. access pt. and Select (press Navi key), highlight No and Select (press Navi key)
12. Highlight Access point settings and Select (press Navi key)
13. Highlight Proxy and Select (press Navi key)
14. Highlight Enable and Select (press Navi key)
15. Highlight Proxy address and Select (press Navi key), enter 193.113.200.195 and OK (press Navi key)
16. Highlight Proxy port and Select (press Navi key), enter 8080 and OK (press Navi key)
17. Skip past Data bearer as this should be preset as Packet Data
18. Highlight Bearer settings and Select (press Navi key)
19. Highlight Packet data acc. pt. and Select (press Navi key), enter wap.o2.co.uk and OK (press Navi key)
20. Ignore Network type this should be set to IPv4
21. Ignore Authentication type, this should be set as Normal
22. Highlight User name and Select (press Navi key), enter o2wap and OK (press Navi key)
23. Highlight Password and Select (press Navi key), enter password and select OK (press Navi key), verify password and again OK (press Navi key)
24. Press Back three times (right soft key) 25. Highlight O2 WAP GPRS and press Options (left soft key)
26. Highlight Activate and Select (press Navi key)
27. Press Back (right soft key) four times.
Step 4:
launch the browser
1. Press the "Menu" key
2. Scroll to "Web" and press the “Select” key
3. Scroll to "Browser" and press the "Select" key
4. Select the "www" field and enter a url. Example: google.com
5. Press the "Goto" key
6. The website will connect

1. Press the "Menu" key
2. Hightlight "Settings" and press the “Select” key
3. Sroll to "Configuration" and press the "Select" key
4. Scroll to "Personal config. sett." and press the "Select” key
5. Press the “Add” key
6. Scroll to "Access point" and press the "Select" key
7. Scroll to "Account name” and press the “Select” key
8. Use the “Clear” key to remove the current name and then enter Italy, press the “OK” key when done
9. From the “Access point” menu scroll to “Access point settings” and press the “Select” key
10. Scroll to “Bearer settings” and press the “Select” key
11. Hightlight “Packet data acc. pt” and then press the “Select” key
12. Use the “Clear” key to remove the placeholder text
13. Enter ibox.tim.it and press the “OK” key
14. Press the red hang-up key to go back to the home screen
Step 4: launch the browser
1. Press the "Menu" key
2. Scroll to "Web" and press the “Select” key
3. Scroll to "Browser" and press the "Select" key
4. Select the "www" field and enter a url. Example: google.com
5. Press the "Goto" key
6. The website will connect

13. Enter live.vodafone.com and press the “OK” key
14. From the “Bearer settings” menu scroll to “User name” and press the “Select” key
15. Enter vodafone as the username and then press the “OK” key
16. Scroll down to “Password” and press the “Select” key
17. Enter vodafone as the password and press the “OK” key; verify the password by entering it in again and pressing the “OK” key
18. Press the red hang-up key to go back to the home screen
Step 4: launch the browser
1. Press the "Menu" key
2. Scroll to "Web" and press the “Select” key
3. Scroll to "Browser" and press the "Select" key
4. Select the "www" field and enter a url. Example: google.com
5. Press the "Goto" key
6. The website will connect

4. Scroll to "Personal config. sett." and press the "Select” key
5. Press the “Add” key
6. Scroll to "Access point" and press the "Select" key
7. Scroll to "Account name” and press the “Select” key
8. Use the “Clear” key to remove the current name and then enter Switzerland, press the “OK” key when done
9. From the “Access point” menu scroll to “Access point settings” and press the “Select” key
10. Scroll to “Bearer settings” and press the “Select” key
11. Hightlight “Packet data acc. pt” and then press the “Select” key
12. Use the “Clear” key to remove the placeholder text
13. Enter gprs.swisscom.ch and press the “OK” key
14. From the “Bearer settings” menu scroll to “User name” and press the “Select” key
15. Leave the username blank
16. Scroll down to “Password” and press the “Select” key
17. Enter gprs as the password and press the “OK” key; verify the password by entering it in again and pressing the “OK” key
18. Press the red hang-up key to go back to the home screen
Step 4: launch the browser
1. Press the "Menu" key
2. Scroll to "Web" and press the “Select” key
3. Scroll to "Browser" and press the "Select" key
4. Select the "www" field and enter a url. Example: google.com
5. Press the "Goto" key
6. The website will connect

13. Enter gprs20.internet.com and press the “OK” key
14. Press the red hang-up key to go back to the home screen
Step 4: launch the browser
1. Press the "Menu" key
2. Scroll to "Web" and press the “Select” key
3. Scroll to "Browser" and press the "Select" key
4. Select the "www" field and enter a url. Example: google.com
5. Press the "Goto" key

15. Enter WAP as the username and then press the “OK” key
16. Scroll down to “Password” and press the “Select” key
17. Enter WAP as the password and press the “OK” key; verify the password by entering it in again and pressing the “OK” key
18. Press the red hang-up key to go back to the home screen
